Positive: I liked the purple theme, and all the furniture was very nice looking in the lobby and breakfast area. the breakfast had good food, I wish we could’ve stayed longer to eat more. the room was nice, could’ve used a microwave but there is one available in the lobby. the employees were charming, I appreciated their help.
Negative: two things. we stayed in room 207. first, the bedroom door is breaking a bit. it’s extremely difficult to close, and while doing so the door gave me a splinter. it wasn’t a big deal, but that door should be replaced. second, the door to our actual room didn’t latch automatically or have a deadbolt. whenever we walked in or out of the room and the door started to close, it wouldn’t latch! highly concerning, luckily we noticed, although I think the door was unlatched when we went to dinner. nothing was missing, thankfully. also, the main doors deadbolt doesn’t work. not too worried, obviously with it properly latched the door can only be opened with a key card. plus, the back-up deadbolt thing still worked fine. other than the door issues, the room and everything else was awesome!
Summary: clean lobby and room, nice bathroom, nice breakfast, and nice staff.

Positive: The location was good, the rooms and lobby were clean.
Negative: The walls were thin and I could hear everything from all directions and from upstairs. When there was an issue with my booking from a third party site and I was short one room, the hotel did not offer for me to book an additional room that night and they tell me there were no rooms available, so I don’t know why that wouldn’t have been their first solution. It was like when I told them it was booked using a different platform, they were unwilling to do anything to help me. The breakfast provided also was not super substantial.
Summary: Clean and okay if there aren’t other options.

Negative: The breakfast should have more options. A waffle maker would have been great, instead we had to go out for breakfast. The breakfast is the only complaint I have about my stay

Positive: Staff was friendly, room was clean. The swivel-out desk was different, but it allowed for lots of desk space. The personalized greeting on the room TV was nice. It was an interesting mix of a more economical Hilton experience. I'll be looking to stay at more Spark by Hilton locations in the future.
Negative: Room was a little small and the canvas stool instead of a desk chair was different. But the room was perfectly fine otherwise.
